Honda Minivan vs. Toyota Sienna
- The Honda minivan comes in four models: LX, EX, EX-L and Touring. The Toyota Sienna also comes in four models: CE, LE, XLE and XLE.
- All models of the Honda Odyssey have a 244-hp., 3.5-liter V6 engine. All models of the Toyota Sienna have a 265-hp., 3.5-liter V6 engine. Both vehicles come standard with front-wheel drive; however, the Sienna LE, XLE, and XLE Limited are also available with all-wheel drive.
- When comparing the base models, the Honda Odyssey has more legroom in the middle row and rear, but the Toyota Sienna has more legroom in the front. The Sienna also has slightly more headroom in the front.
- The Honda Odyssey earned the "Top Safety Pick" by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety in 2009. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the Odyssey a five-star safety rating in four categories, while the Toyota Sienna received a five-star safety rating in three categories.
- For the 2010 model year, the miles per gallon of both minvans is between 16 and 17 in the city; 21 and 25 on the highway.
