How to Freeze Sauces in Freezer Bags
- 1). Let your homemade sauce cool down completely before freezing.
- 2). Label your bags with a permanent marker with the type of sauce and the date it was made.
- 3). Fill your zip-style freezer bags halfway full with your sauce if you will need to feed two people and three-fourths of the way if you will need to feed three or four people. Leave a little head in the container to allow for expansion.
- 4). Place freezer bags in the freezer flat, allowing them to be stacked or stored upright after they are thoroughly frozen.
- 5). Store in the freezer for up to one year.
