How to Make a Totem Pole Depicting Family Members
- 1). Cut out the bottom of each coffee can using the can opener.
- 2). Paint the picture of one family member on each coffee can with the water-based paints and paintbrushes.
- 3). Select the coffee can you want to place at the top of your totem pole.
- 4). Make a 1-inch hole at the center of each plastic cover using the craft knife.
- 5). Cut out the spouts from the plastic milk bottles using the scissors. Recycle the parts of the bottle you do not require to make the totem pole.
- 6). Draw a pair of wings on the detergent bottle using a pencil and cut them out using the craft knife. Recycle the remaining part of the bottle.
