- 1). Turn off your Sony PSP and remove the battery and memory stick. Insert the Magic memory stick and Pandora battery, and your PSP will turn itself on. Press the "X" button twice to install custom firmware. Press the "X" button once more to shut down the PSP after the install completes. Reinsert the normal battery and memory stick. Turn the PSP back on while holding the left trigger.
- 2). Your PSP's recovery (DOS) menu will appear. Select "Registry Hack" from the list of options and you will be presented with another menu. Select "Activate WMV" from the list of options. Select "Back" followed by "Exit." Your PSP will reboot.
- 3). Connect your PSP to your computer with the USB cable. Select "USB Mode" and a window will appear on your computer screen. You will see the files on your PSP memory stick.
- 4). Open the "VIDEO" folder and move your WMV files into here via the copy/paste method. You also can just drag the files into this folder. Press the "Circle" button to safely disconnect your PSP from your computer when the transfer completes.
- 5). Select the video from the PSP menu to play.
