    The American Institute of Architects

    • The American Institute of Architects (AIA) offers scholarships for low-income and minority students through its AIA/AAF Minority Disadvantaged Scholarship Program. The program extends eligibility to community college students, college freshmen and high school graduates who plan to enroll in an NAAB-accredited professional program in architecture. As of January 2011, recipients can receive awards up to $4,000 per year and can reapply for the scholarship each year of their architecture degree programs.

    Concrete Industry Foundation

    • The Concrete Industry Foundation provides educational assistance to students planning careers in the construction and design industries, including the Alfred Gerosa Scholarship, Jack W. Weber Scholarship, Joseph DePaola Grant and Antonio S. Limbardo Scholarship. The program extends eligibility to students who hold residency in the New York City area and are pursuing undergraduate or graduate-level degrees or are enrolled in technical college coursework at a U.S. postsecondary institution. The foundation receives funding from the construction and design industries and financial aid programs.

    AIA Central Massachusetts Scholarships

    • The American Institute of Architects (AIA), in association with the AIA Central Massachusetts chapter, awards the AIA Central Massachusetts Scholarship to architecture students who hold residency in or attend postsecondary institutions in central Massachusetts. As of January 2011, recipients can receive up to $2,000. Candidates must submit examples of their architectural work, CADD work, graphic designs or artwork, along with an essay explaining their future plans in architecture.

    Glass Association of North America

    • The Glass Association of North America (GANA) awards funding for undergraduate and graduate architecture students through its GANA Educational Foundation Scholarship Program. The association extends eligibility for the undergraduate scholarship program to students enrolled in engineering, construction management and architecture programs. Candidates can be enrolled at two- or four-year universities but vocational school students cannot apply. Applicants must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5; past recipients can reapply. Eligible graduate scholarship applicants include students enrolled in business, engineering, construction management and architecture programs. Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and can receive up to $2,500 as of January 2011.

    Municipal Engineers of New York

    • The Municipal Engineers of New York awards funding up to $1,000, as of January 2011, to students enrolled in architectural or engineering programs. The organization extends eligibility to students attending accredited colleges in the New York metropolitan area, but does not accept applications from past award recipients. Candidates must submit a school transcript and finalists must participate in an interview conducted by the scholarship committee.
