How to Care for a Steam Buggy
- 1). Drain the water reservoir in your Steam Buggy completely after using.
- 2). Check all areas of the machine -- especially the steam jet nozzle and attachments -- for mineral-deposit buildup. Pick away deposits carefully with the included cleaning pin. Wipe these areas with a damp microfiber cloth.
- 3). Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth to remove dust or dirt. Set the machine aside to dry out completely.
- 4). Wash the hardwood-floor terry cover when used in a washing machine on a normal small cycle.
- 5). Rinse out used scrub brushes -- boar's hair, brass, nylon or the upholstery and floor brush -- with warm water, and then set the brushes aside to air dry. If a brush has hair or other debris on it, pull the debris from the brush, wash with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly and air dry.
- 6). Wipe the squeegee, if applicable, with a damp cloth. Set it aside to dry.
- 7). Store your Steam Buggy and its attachments in a dry, cool place.
