How to Connect My Blackberry to Wireless Internet
- 1). Press the "Menu" button on the BlackBerry device to display the "Home" screen.
- 2). Press the trackball or trackpad on the "Manage Connections" icon on the Home screen.
- 3). Select the "Set Up Wi-Fi Network" option.
- 4). Select the "Scan for Networks" option. The device will scan for all wireless networks in range. A list of networks in range is displayed on the device.
- 5). Select the wireless network to connect and press the trackball or trackpad. If the network is protected, a dialog box will appear allowing you to enter the Wi-Fi security key. Type the key and press the "OK" option. If the network is not protected, the device will attempt a connection. If the connection is successful, a notification will appear and the Wi-Fi icon will appear as "Enabled" on the Home screen. If the connection is not successful, a notification will appear and the device will display the list of available networks.
