- 1). Locate the latch on the front of the overhead storage bin. This will be towards the center of the bin.
- 2). Lift the latch with one hand and push up on the bin covering with the other. The overhead storage bin cover is designed to roll up and backwards so as not to pop up into the aisle of the plane.
- 3). Continue pushing the bin cover up and back until it ceases moving. The overhead storage bin is now open and ready to receive your carry-on luggage.
