Why Build Your Own Generator?

Thousands of people do it every month, but why build your own generator when you live on grid? The main reason is that the cost of electricity will never come down and if you could generate your own power for free, isn't it time to take cut down on your dependency on the power companies.
We all understand that the energy that we receive from the power companies is tainted with greenhouse gases and that with the growing economies around the globe and the increase in population numbers, we all have a responsibility to consider our electricity consumption.
So what can we do as individuals? Each Home Should Generate Their Own Power A vast amount of energy is lost in relocating it from the source to the consumer.
Being able to produce energy at the point of use would mean not having to produce as much.
If each home had a collection of energy generators producing enough energy to run all the required appliances, then there would be less energy loss.
If it's possible for each of these generators to be carbon neutral and for them to produce free energy, the benefits will be felt by the planet as well as the individual.
Unfortunately the electricity companies might not feel any benefits, but for many of us, that in itself is a major benefit.
How Easy Is It To Build Power Generating Devices? There are a variety of excellent DIY instruction manuals online which include step by step instructions on how to build solar panels, wind turbines and other more elaborate devices such as magnetic generators or biofuel devices.
Solar energy can be used to heat water as well as power devices and wind turbines have become commonplace as domestic power generators.
Being able to set up these systems and integrate them into your power supply means that you can reduce your power bills and eventually eliminate them completely.
