Jesus didn't write a set of commandments for his followers and seemed to ignore some of those that were written by God.
He obviously didn't rest on every single Sabbath and did not fulfill God's commandment, to be fruitful and multiply.
What matters most to Jesus? I keep hearing the word love, love your neighbor and love your enemy as you would love yourself.
The God of the Old Testament was more about fear and obedience than love and compassion.

Do you need to read the entire Bible or even believe in Christianity or any other religion to understand the universal meaning of love? When Jesus talks about loving his neighbor, he's talking about loving every one and treating them as you would like to be treated.
Christians seem to miss the mark on this one.
Often excluding others like homosexuals, women and nonbelievers from their churches.
They would be allowed in their churches, if they would subject themselves to the rules of that particular Christian organization.
This might involve, changing your ways and asking for forgiveness for your sins, before entering these Christian societies.
If Jesus had more messages, they seem to revolve around love and loving others.
You can start today, by being a good example and start living a life like Jesus.
