En fait, oui ! Quand j'avais 20 ans, une amie qui allait souvent à Londres à organisé une fête d'Halloween chez ses parents. Tout le monde était très bien déguisé ; il y avait bien sûr une tonne de vampires, un squelette et quelques zombies. Moi je n'avais pas de déguisements chez moi, et pas d'argent, alors je m'étais juste habillée en blanc et j'avais accroché une grosse araignée en plastique sur mon dos….

Actually, I have! When I was 20, a girlfriend who often went to London organized a party at her parent's. Everybody was really well dressed-up: there was a ton of vampires, a skeleton, and a few zombies. I didn't have any costume at home, and no money, so I just dressed in white and attached a big plastic spider on my back.

Et bien moi, j'adore Halloween. C'est une de mes fêtes préférée, et chaque année, nous faisions une grande fête avec mes amis à Boston. Ça me manque, alors je pense organiser une fête le weekend d'après. Tu crois que ça marchera ?
As far as I'm concerned, I love Halloween. It's one of my favorite holiday, and each year, we used to organize a big party with my friends in Boston. I miss it, so I think we're going to organize a party the following weekend. Do you think people will come?

Oui, j'en suis sûre. Les Français adorent se déguiser et les adultes font souvent des fêtes costumées pour le Nouvel An, ou un anniversaire… 
Yes, I'm sure of it. French people love to dress up and adults often organize costumed parties for New Year's or a birthday…

Oui, et puis je pense faire des ateliers pour les enfants : sculpture de citrouilles, peinture de visages, atelier d'anglais… c'est une bonne façon de leur apprendre du vocabulaire !
Yes, and I was thinking of doing workshops for kids; pumpkin carving, face painting, English language workshops… it's a good way to teach them some vocabulary!

C'est ce que pensent beaucoup de professeurs de maternelle ici, et c'est la raison pour laquelle la mairie et l'école de Paimpol organise un défilé. Rien de tel que des bonbons pour motiver les enfants ! 
That's what many elementary school teachers think, and it's the reason why Paimpol's city hall and school organize a parade. Nothing like candies to motivate kids!
