Stuffed Animal Room Ideas
- Create a colorful room filled with your child's favorite forest animals. Paint a forest mural on the wall featuring some of these animals. For example, you can paint deer and birds among the trees. Hang stuffed birds from the ceiling with twine and place full size stuffed forest animals throughout the room. Adorn your child's bed with additional small stuffed creatures and bring in other toys that your child likes, like animal play sets.
- Create a vintage teddy bear theme in your child's room. Paint the walls light beige and leave the ceiling white. Adorn the shelves with old-fashioned teddy bears that you find at yard sales or antique shops. Choose teddy bear bedding and place your child's favorite bear on his bed. Look for other vintage accents to go with the bears like model planes, trains and other antiques.
- Create a pond-theme room to blend in with your child's frog, turtle and dragonfly stuffed toys. Paint the walls green and leave the ceiling white or paint a pond mural on one of the walls featuring frogs and other pond creatures. Place stuffed frogs on plastic lily pads on top of shelves and hang dragonflies from the ceiling with twine. Find frog or turtle bedding to match the theme of the room and place glow-in-the-dark stars and planets on the ceiling.
- Create a room featuring stuffed kittens and puppies for your little girl to enjoy. Hang up framed pictures of your daughter's stuffed animal pets. Adorn the bed with the animals and put extra animals in hanging nets at the corners of the room. Find an indoor play house to place in the room and put extra stuffed puppies inside. You can also buy a play tent that look like a miniature house or decorate a cardboard box to use as a doghouse for your child's stuffed puppies.
