- 1). Start your computer's web browser software.
- 2). Type "http://192.168.0.1." into the URL box (without quotation marks.) Hit "Enter."
- 3). Type "Admin" as the user-name and "Password" as the password (without quotation marks.) Click "OK" to log on.
- 4). Click "Set Up Wizard" from the left hand column.
- 5). Select "Yes" to configure the modem with the wizard, then press "Next." The modem will detect your connection type.
- 6). Enter your user name and password, as provided by your Internet Service Provider. Click "Apply."
- 7). Click "Restart" if prompted by the wizard. The new settings will take effect once the modem starts up again.
