When you look for entertainment, I think we just take for granted what we have on our doorstep if it means that we have to travel to do things then it's not always worth doing.
I have just come back from a Dubai Holiday, I'm wishing now that I booked a lifetime out there it is a fantastic place so much to see and do and believe it or not, it didn't matter that I may off had to drive anywhere to see the things I wanted to see.
There are things to do for children, things to do for free, things to do at night and so much more.
Things to do for children - Children are justly celebrated in Arab culture, they have an array of child friendly attractions and many hotels have first class supervised clubs.
There is the wild Wadi Water Park open from 11am to 7pm and during October it opens from 8am.
It has 30 water rides, named rides such as mater blaster and Rushdown rivine.
It's a very safe park with plenty of lifeguards and has restaurant facilities on site.
Overshadowing the wild wadi park is the fantastic just opened Atlantis with its enormous new resort with an extravagant water park and beach, or the lost chambers Atlantis themed Aquarium, not to mention there is a wide range of dining options available.
If you fancied something more low key you can try a desert safari which includes a 45 minute ride in a sundowner Dune, You will be collected from your hotel to then be taken off to see the sights and camels to then enjoy your evening with a barbeque and some traditional music.
One more thing that I would definitely recommend for the children would be the largest indoor snow park, it covers an area of 22,500 snow covered square meters, it has beginners slopes for the less confident or if you fancy more of a daring moment then you can venture onto the more advanced slopes.
There are also the very Swiss restaurant facilities available.
Things to do for free - Everybody love's a bargain and even a fantastic place like Dubai allows you to enjoy yourself while saving a few pennies.
You have the extravagant coastline which gives you the chance to go and relax soak up the sun and just enjoy all that Dubai has to offer.
For the local singers who like to send out a tune or two there is the option of the local Karaoke, if you dare or why not just sit back and enjoy what others have to sing or scream.
Dubai is full off museums with a very insightful introduction to Islamic arts although it maybe not everyone's taste, this is the culture you are living for the duration off your holiday so it is always good to have an understanding on the way other people live.
Things to do at Night - An evening dinner cruise are a great way to enjoy a night in Dubai.
The trip offers beautiful scenery while being able to view a majority of landmarks.
You will enjoy a very lavish buffet meal under the moonlight; soft drinks are available to be purchased.
If you are lucky enough to holiday in Dubai over New Year's Eve they also operate a special Cruise through this time off the year how exciting.
Dubai has a fantastic range off night Clubs on offer, one fantastic Club being the Tropicana Nightclub, The nightlife in Dubai is never to disappoint you, and Tropicana Nightclub offers lavish settings and a wide range of Amusement options.
The Dj's in the club played some soulful Arabic numbers that are sure to get you moving, there is a chance to watch the in house belly dancers and offers an everlasting memory for the night.
