How to Remove Wall Mounting Hardware

    • 1). Use a power drill to remove the support screws from the wall mount. Place the screws into a small plastic bag and set aside. Repeat for all mounting on the walls, including that for speakers and wiring.

    • 2). Use a pry bar to gently remove any metal plates or fixtures that seem to stick to the wall after having been mounted for long periods of time.

    • 3). Place all metal plates and other mounting that came off of the wall into a larger plastic bag and set aside.

    • 4). Sweep all debris that fell off of the wall while removing the hardware into a pile. Discard.

    • 5). Repeat above steps for all walls from which you need to remove mounting hardware.
