What "THEY" Don"t Tell You
Happy Friday! I'm reminded once again that the law of attraction really works for everything.
As most of you know, my husband and I used it to move from Canada to California, and learned tons in the process.
As you've probably noticed, I really stepped things up with my business once I was feeling settled post-move.
Opportunities continue to flow, which is A-MAZING!!! BUT, what people don't tell you is that with opportunity comes an increase in business.
Read on to learn how you to prioritize and stay sane as you get busier.
Oh, and Happy Halloween! Here is a pic of Jude recently "hamming" it up! Halloween pic's to follow next week.
First of all, let's be clear that as I've become busier, I am SO thankful! All of my clients (and potential clients), are open and eager to move forward:) And not only that, they are openly spiritual.
I end up having the most amazing talks instead of your typical "business" type of conversations.
It's got to the point that I feel so connected to these people that I tear up and have to stop myself from crying (and no it's not PMS)! I really love what I do and feel really grateful.
What I've come to realize, is that with an increase in opportunities and clients, comes being busier, even though it's a good busy.
This inevitably leads to overwhelm.
I've recognized that if I am helping people do what they love, I have to make sure I'm doing the same.
Otherwise, what is the point? It doesn't make much sense if I'm a crazy stressed out wife and Mom.
This is why I am constantly checking in with my priorities.
By priorities, I mean what's important to me and what I value in life.
I'm talking bigger picture stuff then just my business.
If my business is out of alignment with my priorities then I know I need to make a change.
This is a constant work in progress, but I'm happy to have the tools in place in order to recognize, re-asses and realign.
What has been helpful for me is to have systems and processes in place for everything.
From tasks like laundry and banking, to calendaring school tasks, to having a regular house keeper (my favourite).
There are many more, but you get the drift.
The more easily my life flows, the more support I have to thrive in my business.
It's a win win, for you and me.
Start to think about how you can make your life easier.
Scheduling in time for you is probably the most important.
It's imperative to recharge your batteries too in order to be at your best so that you can give your best.
