- 1). Catch the golden stars that fall during a battle sequence. You will need five of these to unleash the ancient digivolve power.
- 2). Close in on your opponent so that you are within normal melee range. The digivolve attack will fail if it does not directly hit the enemy.
- 3). Hold "Up," the "A" button and the "B" button on the Gameboy at the same time. This is the sequence to activate the ancient digivolve sequence.
- 4). Quickly grab the digimon spirits that are released after the ancient attack.
