Let Fitness Change Your Life
These days a lot of people see fitness and sports and things related to it as something to do to lose weight, look good or to get healthy.
Those things are all true.
But there is so much more to taking up a sport, joining a gym, doing Yoga or doing Pilates.
There is a element to these activities that don't get mentioned.
That is the mental aspect and the effect that it has on the body, mind and spirit.
Out of personal experience I have seen how sports can change your mindset and lifestyle if you start focusing on it and let it become part of your life.
For me it changed my whole life.
I was at a bad place a couple of years ago and running for me turned out to be a life changer and saver.
It gave me discipline and routine that I did not have.
It gave a mental output to focus on, almost a form of meditation.
It grounded me.
Physically I started feeling better and mentally I started getting more stable.
For me running was a platform for other change.
So if you happen to be at a place in your life where you feel like you are trapped or stuck, then take up a sport or start doing Yoga or what ever type of physical activity suits you.
You will see the positive effects.
Yes I know it's not always fun to get up and going out into the cold to go for a run or go to the gym, but it's definitely worth the trouble.
Sports or physical activity is a way to relax the mind body and spirit and give us a solid structure and room to breath.
So what are you waiting for? Get moving!
