The Mindset of Finding a Treatment For Psoriasis
So, what do I mean by the "mindset of finding a treatment for Psoriasis"? Most people with Psoriasis have a mindset when looking for a "Psoriasis cure" that reflects the disappointment they've experienced in treating the disease.
Whether it's from the many doctor prescribed pharmaceutical meds that haven't worked or the many times they have been lied to by people on the internet who were only out for the money.
The mindset has become, "I just give up.
I'll live with it.
I don't want to spend any more money for something that's just not going to work anyway".
I get it.
Do you have that mindset? I can't blame you if you do.
But do you really want to give up? I don't think you do.
Then don't! Let's look at some things that would help in your search for some Psoriasis remedies.
1.
Psoriasis cures...
When searching on the internet avoid anyone and everyone who says anything about having "Psoriasis cures".
They - are - lying - to - you.
There is no cure for Psoriasis! Period.
At least according to the National Psoriasis Foundation.
Not yet anyway.
I know it's hard to believe that someone would just flat out lie to you just to get your money, but they will.
They play on your hope that they have the "Psoriasis cure".
Avoid them like the diseased individuals they are.
Here's just a funny aside.
There's a woman on YouTube that made a video about her "Psoriasis cure": "Don't use Ivory soap, use Dove".
Oh, please.
As if everyone with the dreaded P uses Ivory! Give me a break.
Then there's the guy who's "cure for Psoriasis" was when he bought a water softener! Oh please again! But I ramble.
Just type into Google the words "Psoriasis Hall of PShame".
That's not a typo.
2.
Seek proof...
A while back I saw two nice, full color ads that were using before and after photos of a guy with his arms up blocking his face showing his forearms and elbows as an example of how well the product had worked for him.
The ads were for two different products.
They were using the exact same photos of the same guy for two different products.
How stupid do they think we are? But you know what, they got away with it and made a lot of money and disappointed a lot of people along the way.
Look for genuine before and after Psoriasis pictures.
Hard to tell? What about a progression of Psoriasis photos taken during the treatment by the patients themselves? It is possible.
3.
Warning...
When it comes to doctor prescribed medications from the major drug companies: Read The Warnings And Side Effects! Several years ago when Enbrel first came out with the little flying superman type guy in the TV ads, I was thrilled and hopeful that I could finally get some relief.
That is until I studied up on it.
This is from the Enbrel website...
Serious side effects include:serious infections including TB; nervous system problems, such as multiple sclerosis, seizures or inflammation of the nerves of the eyes; rare reports of serious blood problems (some fatal); heart failure, including new heart failure or worsening of heart failure you already have; allergic reactions; immune reactions, including a lupus-like syndrome and lymphoma (a type of cancer).
People with rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis may have a higher chance for getting lymphoma.
These major drug companies charge thousands of $$ for their treatments.
Thanks, but no thanks.
The effects of the treatments with these drugs are many times worse than the disease.
One more thing, consider all your options before agreeing when a doctor recommends any of these types of drugs? 4.
Guarantees...
Look to see if the company has a guarantee for their product.
Will they give your money back if it doesn't work for you? And here's another subtle clue, do you have to return the product? So, don't give up!! Don't ever give up on trying to find the right thing that works for you.
Just keep these things in mind when looking for a way to treat your psoriasis symptoms.
This will give you the right mindset of finding a treatment for Psoriasis.
