    • 1). Lay your two pieces of fabric on top of each other, with the right sides facing each other. Put the piece of batting on top of the pieces of fabric.

    • 2). Use a sewing machine to stitch a ¼ -inch seam around the pieces. Leave just a two inch opening.

    • 3). Cut around the perimeter of the sewed together pieces to trim the jagged edges. It doesn't have to be perfect as this is the inside of the luggage handle cover.

    • 4). Push the fabric right side out using the two inch opening and a pencil or chopstick. The pencil can help push out the corners completely.

    • 5). Fold and tuck in the fabric by the opening and press it with an iron to get it to lay flat. Once you have done this, you can sew together the opening on your sewing machine with the same ¼-inch seam.

    • 6). Attach one strip of the Velcro with a ¼ -inch seam on one of the 5 1/2-inch sides of the handle cover. Flip over the cover when you are done to attach the other Velcro strip to the opposite end on the opposite side. When you are done you should be able to fold the cover over your luggage handle and close it tightly with the Velcro.
