Identification

• In the 2006 Grand Prix, the cover of the fuse panel is the same color as the surrounding dash. It's a cutout that is flush with the surface, but a release latch can be found in a small depression at the top of the cover. The cover itself has a diagram of the fuse panel, which identifies the use for each fuse.
  
  

Underhood Fuse Block

• There's also a fuse panel (or fuse block) located in the engine compartment on the passenger side of the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. This compartment contains fuses for different components such as the headlamps, wiper system and airbags. The cover is removed in the same manner as the interior panel, and it also contains the diagram to identify each fuse.
  
  

Tips

• This vehicle has spare fuses and a fuse puller in the fuse block in the engine compartment. A replacement fuse can be identified by matching the color of the fuse that needs to be replaced. Fuse amperages are matched with a color code that is used worldwide.
