- 1). Make sure your wicker basket isn't exposed to harsh weather conditions. Keep it out of the rain as the moisture will cause molding.
- 2). Wash your wicker basket with warm water and a mild household detergent once every few months. Allow it to dry outside.
- 3). Mix one part bleach to three parts water and wash your wicker basket with the solution and allow to dry. This will prevent darkening of the wicker.
- 4). Dust your wicker basket regularly. Brush hard using a toothbrush to reach nooks and crevices. Remove dust from the basket using a vacuum cleaner.
