• The Internet is one of the best places to get help with Spanish verbs. On many university websites, Spanish professors have uploaded grammar guides, grammar practice and grammar advice for anyone to use. For example, Colby College in Maine has a webpage dedicated to Spanish grammar. Trinity University in Texas also has a Spanish grammar webpage. On both websites, there are hundreds of practice problems. There are many other websites devoted to helping Spanish students understand Spanish verbs.
  
  Another Internet website for Spanish verb help is verbix.com. Verbix is a website devoted entirely to verbs, and the website has conjugated verbs from every major language. On the Spanish section, type the infinitive (the unconjugated form) of any verb, and Verbix will automatically conjugate it into all of the eighteen Spanish tenses. Verbix will also highlight in red any irregular conjugations.
  
  

Spanish Books

• Spanish grammar books can also help you with Spanish verbs. Most books include sections describing each of the grammar tenses, how to understand their appropriate usage, common mistakes students make and extra practice. Two highly rated books are REA's "Handbook of Spanish Grammar, Style and Writing" and McGraw Hill's "Correct Your Spanish Blunders." These books are available at a local library.
  
  Keep in mind that, although there are eighteen tenses, only half are used in everyday speech. For example, few Spanish speakers use the future subjunctive. Hence, most grammar books only discuss the common tenses and ignore the obsolete ones.

• Spanish native speakers can strengthen your understanding of Spanish verbs. They can explain the language on a level that a book or website cannot. To locate them, visit Spanish forums such as wordreference.com. Although you cannot meet face-to-face on a forum, you can ask questions through a thread or private message. You can also find local native speakers through community websites, which allow people in your hometown to link up.
