- 1). Place the helmet cam either to the left or right side of the helmet. If your camera has straps, thread them through the heat vents on the helmet and attach the hook and loop fabric together to keep it secured to the helmet.
- 2). Slide any hard mounting bracket into the heat vents and use the straps to attach the helmet to the camera.
- 3). Set the helmet, with the camera, onto a flat surface and turn the camera on. Point the camera and helmet toward a set target and look into the view finder. Use the target to determine where the camera points when on your head.
- 4). Put the helmet on and walk around with the camera on for a few seconds, looking up, down and side to side. View the playback to see if you are satisfied with the aim of the helmet cam.
