She proved that the world respected women inventors and their inventions She was Polish by origin and along with her husband Pierre Curie she discovered two new elements radium and polonium. She studies the x-rays emitted from these elements and found that they were able to kill tumors which was a revolution in the medical field. She chose not to patent her invention. She shares her Nobel Prize in Physics with her husband. It turned out that women inventors and their inventions were a boon to modern day life.
Valerie Thomas of America invented a futuristic illusion transmitter and received patent for it in 1980.Her illusion transmitter is an extension of television images with three dimensional projections giving an illusion that the images exist right in front of you in your living room.
