How to Make a Montage in Photoshop Cs3
- 1). Open a new document in Photoshop by selecting "Ctrl+N." When the screen requiring you to enter the size of the page appears, enter a height of "17 in." and a width of "24 in."
- 2). Go to File and Place to place each photo you want to use in the montage on your page. You do not need to worry about sizes yet---just get all of the images on the page.
- 3). Resize all of the files on the page to the size you want them to be. To resize, simply click and hold on the lower left-hand corner of the image and press and hold the "Shift" button. Move the mouse upward, and the image will resize.
- 4). Open a new document by selecting "Ctrl+N" on the keyboard. In the new document, create as many boxes for images as you need. Each image box can be created by selecting the "Image Box" tool and drawing a box on the page by clicking and holding on the mouse.
- 5). Put a black border around each image box by clicking on the image and selecting "1 pt." in the line tool that is located in the menu bar at the top of the page.
- 6). Copy the images from the first document and paste them into the boxes that were created in the second document. Save the file as a .jpeg. You have now made a montage in Photoshop CS3.
