How to Add Comments to a PowerPoint

    • 1). Open the PowerPoint presentation. Click on the individual slide on which you want to add comments. Add a comment about text on the slide by clicking on the text box. Add a comment to a graphic or other object on the slide by clicking on the object. Add a comment about anything in general on the slide by clicking anywhere on the slide.

    • 2). Click on the "Review" tab in the ribbon. Locate the "Comments" group, then click "New Comment."

    • 3). Type your comments about the text, object or slide in general, then click outside the comment box.

    • 4). Change comments that other reviewers have made to the slide by clicking on a previously-made comment. Type your comments, then click outside the comment box. The color of the new comment will change to reflect the new reviewer.

    • 5). Save your PowerPoint presentation file to save the comments.
