  • 1). Select the text you'd like to become the link (the text the reader will click on to link to a new location).

  • 2). Click the Link (the one that looks like a chain) tool, or choose Link from the Tools menu.

  • 3). Use the Link tool to draw a box around the text or area you want linkable. The Create Link dialog box will appear.

  • 4). Use the Acrobat navigation tools to display the page you want the link to take you to.

  • 5). Click the Set Link button in the Create Link dialog box to establish your link.
