Dog Days of Summer
Buddy is a mixed-breed dog who lives in Ohio with his adoptive parents, Herb and Sharon, and his sister-dog, Lainie. He loves his plastic kiddie pools so much, he practically devours them, literally.
Owner Herb recalls: "This is Buddy pawing. (Or, as Jill Easton would say, doing the dog paddle.) His first pool -- circa summer 2007, and an exact replica of the one from the previous year -- part pool, part chew toy.
He started chewing on it from day one and finally chewed through it, releasing all the water on Labor Day. Hence, establishing the date for the official Pool Closing Day."
