How to Use Egg Poachers
- 1). Remove the egg cups and set aside. Place about 3/4-inch of water in the bottom of the skillet or pot and place on the stove. Bring the water to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- 2). Crack an egg, deposit it gently into the non-stick cup and place the cup in the open slot of the poacher. Repeat this step for the number of eggs you wish to poach. Place the lid on the skillet.
- 3). Allow the eggs to cook for about three to four minutes, or until they have solidified. Remove the pan from the burner.
- 4). Lift the cup out of the pan by the handle. Slide the egg carefully onto a plate. Repeat this step with each egg.
- 5). Allow the egg poacher to cool, and place it in warm water with dish soap for a simple cleanup.
