How to Make Sound From Voice Chat Go to a Headphone Mic
- 1). Plug in the microphone jack to the pink microphone slot on your computer.
- 2). Click the "Start" button in the lower-left corner of the desktop and click "Control Panel."
- 3). Type "Sound" in the search box in the upper-right corner of the window that appears and then click the "Sound" link.
- 4). Click the "Recording" tab and then click the "Microphone." Click the "Properties" button.
- 5). Click the "Levels" tab. Click the speaker icon, if it has a red circle with a line through it. That means that it has been muted. Clicking it will un-mute it. Click the slider and move it to the right or left to decrease or increase the volume. Click the "Apply" button.
- 6). Close all windows. The sound from the mic will now go to the voice chat.
