  Most teenage girls will be impressed with an electronic gift of some sort. A handheld DVD player would allow her to watch movies on the go -- a must-have for the movie-loving teen. If your teenage daughter is a gamer, there are a few handheld game consoles to choose from, and many are available in glitzy, girlie colors. You can also purchase games which have been specifically designed with teenage girls in mind.
  
  Maybe your teenage daughter is a music fan, in which case an iPod or other portable music player may be more suitable. Discover which bands and singers your daughter enjoys so you can customize the player with some pre-loaded music.

• Purchasing jewelry can be expensive, so be sure you have a good idea what your teenage daughter likes to avoid making any costly mistakes.
