- 1). Open any program which allows printing, such as a word processor or browser.
- 2). Click "Ctrl" and "P" to open the print dialog.
- 3). Click the drop-down menu by "Name" and select your HP Photosmart C5580 printer. Click "Properties."
- 4). Select the "Services" tab.
- 5). Click the "Service This Device" icon, which looks like three partially-filled vertical bars.
- 6). Select the "Estimated Ink Levels" tab to view ink levels on the HP Photosmart C5580 printer.
