- 1). Click the "Start" button in the corner of the Windows desktop. After the start menu appears, type "Device Manager" into the search field. The device manager window comes into view and shows a list of the hardware installed on the PC grouped by type.
- 2). Expand the "Monitors" option in the device manager window to display all the monitors installed for use with this PC.
- 3). Double-click on the "Acer X223W" to open a monitor properties window.
- 4). Click the "Driver" tab and then press the "Update Driver" button to start the Windows driver update wizard.
- 5). Click the "Search Automatically for Updated Driver Software" heading to prompt Windows to search the Internet for the most up to date driver available for the monitor. After the new driver is located, Windows installs it automatically. Close the driver update wizard to resume normal computer use.
