How to Change Your Microsoft Password
- 1). Hit "Ctrl+Alt+Delete."
- 2). Click on "Change a Password."
- 3). Enter your existing password in the designated area.
- 4). Type your new password where indicated. For ultimate security, create a password that's at least 14 characters and contains numbers, letters, punctuation and symbols.
- 5). Retype the new password to confirm, then hit "Enter."
- 1). Click on the "Start" button and go to "Control Panel."
- 2). Select the "Users" tab. Choose the name of the user whose password you wish to change.
- 3). Click on "Reset Password."
- 4). Enter the new password under "New Password" and "Confirm New Password," then hit "OK."
